## Scope

Six astronomy charts were reviewed using seven checks: chart type, data shown, axes and legends, design choices, readability, amount of information, and suggested improvements.

## Recurring issues

- Crowded points and overlapping data made some charts difficult to compare.
- Some marker colors blended into the image behind them.
- Oversized symbols covered contour lines or trend information.
- Legends and line meanings were not always clear.
- Some axes used more range than the data needed.
- One figure appeared to have confusing axis labels that needed verification.

## Quality lesson

A visualization can be technically generated and still fail the reader. The review treated legibility, contrast, labeling, and visual hierarchy as quality requirements, not cosmetic preferences.
